I always try to befriend Merrill in DA2, but when her story progresses to the Keeper’s sacrifice her blaming her actions onto someone who died to protect her really seems selfish. Then following she wants to kills her clan. To me she seems a child.

…but she doesnt want to kill her clan? her own clan attack her (and you) if you inform them that marethari was possessed and that you had to kill her. if my memory serves me correctly, merrill never even suggested killing her clan…?
