perhaps in a place where all they know is power over others, in a system where being a mage is equal to being superior (ie tevinter)

true equality for mages is being treated how others without magic are treated outside of tevinter. children not being taken away and imprisoned out of fear, not being stuck in a circle your entire life because people are scared of what you might do. not to even mention the power structure in place by the chantry, and how many #rape s and #murder s take place without a single repercussion.

mages aren’t people- people are mages. it is a part of them, sometimes big, sometimes small, but it is not all of them. they deserve a life unencumbered by the chantry, or templars or any kind of restriction.
